🌸 Creative Facilitation

Introduction

I offer creative, nurturing and inclusive workshops that invite people to reconnect with their imagination and sense of wonder. My sessions bring art and mindfulness together to encourage play, relaxation and self-expression. Whether it’s a small community group, a classroom, or a wellbeing project, my aim is always to create a safe, inspiring space where creativity can gently unfold. I have trained as a drama therapist and I am a qualified teacher. I have insurance and I am DBS checked.

About My Facilitation Work

Over the years I’ve shared creative sessions in schools, at festivals, community centres, day centres for the elderly and I have taught a lot of art sessions in Glastonbury. I have worked with the Yeast Scrapstore, Children’s World, Somerset Skills and Learning, Glastonbury Sacred Death Centre and Glastonbury Mental Health Network. Each group is unique, and I love adapting my approach to meet people where they are — using art as a way to foster confidence, connection and calm.

Living in Glastonbury, I’m inspired by its mystical energy and the healing power of creativity. I often bring this sense of magic and meaning into my workshops, encouraging people to explore colour, texture and symbolism as a way of expressing their own stories.

My work blends art, mindfulness and wellbeing, with an emphasis on slowing down, noticing beauty, and creating from the heart. I am a qualified yoga teacher so I sometimes bring some breathwork into the workshops if it is appropriate, this works particularly well in mindfulness sessions.

Workshops I Offer

  • Creative Wellbeing Sessions – art as meditation: gentle, restorative sessions that nurture calm and creativity.

  • Mindful Stitching & Mandala Workshops – slow, rhythmic hand-stitching to explore pattern, colour and stillness.

  • Community Art Projects – collaborative art-making for festivals, schools or wellbeing groups.

  • Nature & Myth-Inspired Workshops – exploring natural materials, mythical imagery and the spirit of place.

Suitable for: schools, mental health projects, elderly care settings, art and wellbeing centres, or private groups.
